Are you looking for a career change? Is the open road calling you? Many people pass up the idea of driving a truck for a living because they fear the high costs of truck driving school. Don’t let that stop you. The world is changing for truck drivers and the massive driver shortage across the country makes the effort to get your commercial driver’s license well worth your while.

Even better! At Roehl, we pay you to learn to drive! That’s right. We offer paid CDL training so you can get your CDL while earning money, without paying to go to CDL school.

Why Consider a Career as a Truck Driver?

The most obvious and noteworthy reason to consider a career as a truck driver is the pay. Truck drivers with Roehl are on track to earn $70,000+! There are college graduates earning considerably less and saddled with ridiculous debt. More than the earning potential, though, truck drivers who learn on the job with Roehl enjoy the following benefits:

  • Training to obtain your CDL is part of the job.
  • You are hired and paid as an employee on day 1.
  • You'll be paid while you get your CDL.
  • Your paid training to get your CDL is three weeks and is available in multiple locations.
  • We provide lodging and most meals.
  • After you have your CDL, you'll continue your on-the-job training as a long haul truck driver with Roehl.
  • If you were to go to a CDL school, you would not get paid while you are training AND you'd have to come up with the tuition for the school.
  • We're a stable company that provides full benefits - we invest in you.

Now is the perfect time to leave all thoughts of costly truck driving or CDL school model of learning behind and go with the company that offers on-the-job training with real experiences behind the wheel to help you begin your career. With so many existing truck drivers reaching retirement age, the current truck driver shortage will only grow over the next decade. This makes now the perfect time to get in and begin earning money while developing important skills behind the wheel.

Roehl is happy to help. Plus, we offer you full-time employment, with benefits, once you complete your training. You don’t even have to go through the job search program once you’ve earned your commercial drivers license and are ready to embark on your career as a beginning long-haul truck driver.

What’s in it for Roehl?

Roehl is offering something of value to truckers but does have certain expectations in return. Most importantly, we expect all drivers to work for us for a minimum of 120,000 solo paid miles (approximately 15 months) as a long-haul driver.

Think this might be the right path for you? Learn more about the possibilities and begin earning while learning with Roehl. It is so much more than just paid CDL training. It's your stepping stone to a new life and a better living.
