Roehl’s Daniel Walton named to Trucking's Top Rookie Top 11 Finalist

Roehl Transport flatbed truck driver Daniel Walton has been named a Top 11 Finalist in the Mike O'Connell Trucking's Top Rookie Award. 

Daniel is a former captain in the merchant marines. He is also a certified truck driver trainer (read more about Daniel). 

The Mike O’Connell Trucking’s Top Rookie Award recognizes drivers who've made the transition to the transportation industry. Originally the idea of the late Mike O’Connell (a former the executive director of the Commercial Vehicle Training Association), Mike thought recognizing a top rookie driver helped show new drivers they are appreciated by the trucking industry.

The award is sponsored by Randall-Reilly, and it is presented by the Truckers News  publication (see the complete list of 2019 Trucking's Top Rookie fiinalists).

Daniel will attend the Great American Truck Show (GATS) in Dallas, Texas in August where the winner will be announced on stage.
