If you are considering a job change, choose a career in the transportation industry. Roehl Transport will pay you and train you while you get your CDL, the license you need to be a truck driver.
If you qualify, we'll pay you while you get your CDL. The paid CDL training is three weeks. After that, you'll have your CDL, and you'll get into a truck with a Certified Driver Trainer (about 3 weeks). Once you are driving in your truck and gaining experience, you earnings will go up. From there, Roehl drivers are on track to making $70,000+!
Here are the basics:
- Training to obtain your CDL is part of the job.
- You are hired and paid as an employee on day 1.
- You'll be paid while you get your CDL.
- Your CDL training is three weeks and is available in Georgia.
- After you have your CDL, you'll continue your on-the-job training as a long haul truck driver.
- If you were to go to a CDL school, you would not get paid while you are training AND you'd have to come up with the tuition for the school.

Responsibilities
- Operate truck to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations.
Qualifications
This is a Class A CDL truck driving job with on-the-job CDL training. Some requirements include:
- be at least 21 years old.
- be able to read, write & speak English.
- have held a US or Canadian driver’s license for at least two years.
- be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical & drug testing.
- have a good driving record while driving a personal vehicle.
