The WCWI Mental Health in the Workplace Certificate is designed to guide Wisconsin organizations through actionable steps to create and sustain a mentally healthy work environment. Founded in 1985, and based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the WCWI recognized Roehl in five specific areas:
Awareness and Education: Comprehensive communication efforts and integration of QPR suicide prevention training for fleet managers, driver trainers, leaders, and interested teammates.
Leadership Engagement: Visible ownership, high completion rates for active listening training, and a strong focus on building leadership capability.
Policies and Procedures: A tailored Mental Health Crisis Response Protocol for all teammates and a clearly articulated Mental Health Policy.
Employee Support Initiatives: Creative programs like the Turn Over a New Leaf mindful minutes challenge and peer connection through employee-led groups in the wellness app.
Data-Informed Approach: Separate driver and non-driver surveys, transparent reporting, and defined focus areas and goals for 2026.
