This month we interviewed a few of our 2021 Outstanding Driver Trainers!

 
 

Profit Sharing 

We contributed 7% of gross wages to eligible participant retirement accounts as profit sharing during the week of March 21. This is the highest profit-sharing payout in the history of our organization! 

Our CEO Rick Roehl grew up in our business and knows that each teammate contributes to our success. Profit sharing is one of the rewards of contributing as a member of TeamRoehl.  

If you started on July 1, 2020 or earlier, you received a contribution equal to 7% of your 2021 gross wages. 

If you started between July 2, 2020 and January 1, 2021, you received a contribution of 7% of your gross wages from July 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021.

Awards Banquet

There is no cost to attend the social and no RSVP is needed. A cash bar will be available. 

If you want to reserve a room at Hotel Marshfield, please mention Roehl Transport Awards Banquet to obtain a preferred rate. 

Space in the banquet hall is limited so after the honorees and their guests and leadership there’s not any room left over for all of our teammates who would like to celebrate with our honorees. That’s a small problem that we have a big solution for – the Post Awards Banquet Social.

Exciting changes to our per diem reimbursement program.

We are excited to announce an enhancement to our per diem reimbursement program! Working with our IT and Finance departments, we will use a new vendor to administer our Tax Advantage Per Diem program, and that means in virtually every case, Roehl drivers who qualify for per diem will take home more and the program will be available to all Roehl company drivers, regardless of fleet! This change supports our values of Innovation and Driver Driven and reflects feedback our driving teammates have shared. Stay tuned as more details will be available soon, and thank you for being a member of our great team!

Stress Awareness Month


 
April is Stress Awareness Month! Stress levels can have either a positive or negative effect on your health. Educating ourselves on how we cope with our stress and discovering healthy ways to deal with those situations can go a long way in living a healthful and positive life. In the past year, 74% of people have felt so stressed they have been overwhelmed or unable to cope according to the Mental Health Foundation. This shows just how important it is to start learning how to manage your stress today.
 
Please join the Roehl Wellness Program this month as we learn more about our individual stressors, how to cope in healthy ways, and how to offer support to each other during stressful times.

Earth Day 2022


Friday, April 22nd is Earth Day, so let’s get involved in the activities around us! Can’t find any events? Why not do your own thing, by cleaning up your neighborhood while on a walk, recycling, planting a tree, or educating yourself on what you can do to show your planet some love.
 
According to earthday.org 52 billion face masks were made in 2020, of those 1.56 billion masks have ended up in our oceans. Our society and nature are constantly being thrown out of balance by changes in this world, but we throughout the years have been resilient to these many challenges and this has shown us that we can make a change.
 
Together, we will restore our earth. The first step is learning how we can make changes in our own lives.
