TeamRoehl is a Top Company For
Women to Work For In Transportation!

Roehl Transport has once again been named a Top Company For Women to Work For In Transportation. The designation, through the Women in Trucking Association (WIT), reinforces that Roehl is a great place to work! This year more than 100 nominations were received and over 14,000 votes were cast to identify the top companies named to the list. This is the third consecutive year we received this distinction.
Ellen Voie, the President and CEO of WIT, recently joined Michael and Roman on the Keeping It Roehl podcast to talk about the Women In Trucking Association.

2022 Military Friendly Employer

We are pleased to share that TeamRoehl has been named a 2022 Military Friendly Employer by the publishers of GI Jobs magazine. This is the 9th consecutive year that we have received this prestigious distinction. To earn the Military Friendly® Employer designation, companies are evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Over a thousand companies participated in the 2022 Military Friendly® survey.
“Companies earning the Military Friendly Employers designation create and elevate the standard for military programs across the globe, they have invested in substantive programs to recruit, retain and advance the veterans and service members within their organizations,” said Kayla Lopez, Director of Military Partnerships, Military Friendly®. “To them, hiring veterans and servicemembers is more than just the right thing to do, it makes good business sense.”
In addition to the 2022 Military Friendly® Employer designation, Roehl Transport also supports our teammates in the National Guard and Reserves through our participation in the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program (ESGR) as well as through the Roehl Honor Program, which offers recognition to military veterans. And earlier this year, Roehl unveiled two special military tractors that celebrate and honor the veterans who have served and continue to serve our great nation.
Thank you to our veterans. To learn more about the publishers of GI Jobs magazine, visit MilitaryFriendly.com. To learn more about Roehl Transport, including how you can get a trucking job after serving in the military, please read our Truck Driving Jobs for Military Veterans blog post.
John Spiros Honored with TIDA award

TIDA Committee Member Sara Miemiec and John Spiros
Our VP of Safety and Claims, John Spiros, was recently honored with the John T. Biezup Memorial Service Award from the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA). The annual award was created to remember John Biezup, a charter member TIDA who died suddenly in 1994. In selecting John Spiros this year, TIDA Board of Directors chose the member they believe best exemplifies John Biezup’s spirit of service to TIDA and to the trucking industry. Congratulations John and thank you for your leadership!
