Our TeamRoehl Wall of Values video gets recognition with a Viddy Award!


The Viddy Award honors excellence in all aspects of video production. Over the years, this video competition has attracted tens of thousands of entries from over 100 countries, making it one of the largest competitions in the history of film and video.

How to contact I.T.
 
Whether you are new to Roehl or a veteran, the IT department wants to make sure you know how to contact us when you need support or have a new request. First, a little background; there are three branches of IT, and all have different skills and responsibilities.
  • The Infrastructure, or IS team, is responsible for things like hardware, phone systems, security, and email.
  • The Application Development team is responsible for software such as IRIS, ROME, Payroll, EDI, RPA, etc., and assists with gathering requirements for new development internally and with outside software vendors.
  • The Enterprise Information Management (EIM) / Business Intelligence (BI) team will help you with questions related to reports and are responsible for providing data and analysis for all areas of business.

The following instructions are for our non-driving teammates that need support with our Roehl applications as defined above. For our driving teammates, please continue to reach out to your Fleet Manger for support.

If you have an issue that is urgent, meaning you cannot do your work because a system is unavailable or not responding, please call the support line at extension 2255. Follow the prompts based on your issue. Don’t worry if you don’t know who to talk to; do your best, and if you need to be routed to another department, we’ll help with that.

For non-urgent issues, you should create a ticket through our helpdesk system, Samanage. You can find the link to this on the RedWeb on the main Corporate page. The link for IT Request is on the right-hand side. Once there and on the Home Page, notice there are three columns.
  • The first is a list of Highlighted Services, or commonly submitted issues.
  • The second column is a list of questions, or Highlighted Solutions, that we get asked often – you may find the answer to your question or issue here.
  • The last column shows any of your Active Requests.

If none of these are what you are looking for, click the Create New Ticket link at the bottom.
Just like with the phone system, do your best, and we’ll make sure the right people see it.

Sometimes business users email the IT department directly, and in some situations, we’ve put that process in place intentionally. We may be working on a project, or a larger issue where direct communication is warranted. However, for typical day-to-day requests or issues, please connect with IT via the ticketing system or phone when needed. This will ensure someone will see your issue and allows multiple people to review it simultaneously.

We encourage you to share this information with your teams so that we can ensure everyone gets the most efficient technology support possible. We’re here to assist you with any questions or ideas you have – please do not hesitate to reach out.

Employee Benefits Spotlight

Your Roehl Health Insurance Premium Discount


 

As a reminder, to receive the discount on your Roehl health insurance premiums for 2022 you will need to complete the Health Assessment at www.anthem.com.  Annually, this discount can save you between $234-$572 per year! 

You must retake the assessment even if you have completed it in the past.  Instructions detailing how to complete the assessment can be found at www.roehlbenefits.com, Your Health, Health Assessment.  To receive the full discount, both you and your spouse must complete the assessment if you have employee + spouse or family medical insurance. 

To qualify for reduced premiums for January 1, 2022, you must complete the assessment prior to December 15, 2021.  If you complete the assessment after this date, you will begin to receive the discount within 3 pay periods of completion.   

Anthem will notify us prior to January 1, 2022 of those who are eligible for the weekly premiums discount. The Health Assessment itself is confidential.  Roehl does not have access to the data you provide. 

In addition, we will be changing how the premium discount is determined for the 2023 plan year.  To qualify for the discount in 2023, you will need to complete a visit with your primary care provider between August 2021 and July 31, 2022. 

Having a primary care provider is important to your health.  Visits with your primary care provider can help you catch health related issues early, as well as manage chronic health conditions.  It has been shown that individuals that have a primary care provider spend less time in the hospital and less money on healthcare costs throughout their lives.     

Please note, the premium discount for 2023 has not yet been determined.  To receive the full discount, both the employee and spouse will have to have a primary care visit if enrolled in employee + spouse or family coverage.  Roehl will be notified of those qualifying for the premium discount prior to Open Enrollment in November, 2022.
