2024 Medical Premium Discount
If you completed a preventive care visit with your primary care doctor in 2023, you are eligible for a discount on your medical premiums for 2024. Remember to log into the benefit system during Open Enrollment to confirm your 2024 medical rate. If there is a discrepancy, please reach out to me as soon as possible.
Working Spouse Clause and the Spousal Coverage Statement
The working spouse clause states that if your spouse is eligible for health insurance through his or her employer, they are not eligible for primary coverage under the Roehl medical plan. They must take their employer offered insurance to be eligible for secondary coverage through Roehl.
If you currently have or will be adding your spouse to your medical insurance, you will be required to complete and return the Spousal Coverage Statement. Please complete and return this form no later than December 1, 2023. If the form is not received by that date, your spouse will not be covered on by our medical plan in 2024.
Spousal coverage verification helps us ensure that that the Roehl group health plans cover only those who qualify as dependents based on plan guidelines.
This process is one thing we can do to keep our plan premiums affordable for all enrolled.
Please contact Human Resources at extension 2112 with questions relating to the Working Spouse Clause.
