Roehl Currently Has Openings for Local Truck Driving Fleets in Your Area

Local truck drivers typically drive for a single customer, in a set geographic region. At Roehl, this means familiarity and consistency. Our local drivers stay within 200-250 miles of their home terminals. This allows for daily home time and in many cases, weekends off.

Local truck driving jobs are not typically paid by the mile. Because local truck drivers tend to make more pick-ups and deliveries in day, they are often paid hourly, and in some cases, earn additional pay based on performance or the other work the truck driver does (like stop pay, pick-up and delivery pay, tarping (if a local flatbed truck driving job).

Because the demand for local truck driving jobs in your area is so high, in most cases those home daily driving jobs are filled by experienced CDL A drivers. If you're just starting out in trucking and want to know how you can get a CDL, visit our step-by-step how to get a CDL guide.

In addition to the consistent pay, local truck drivers at Roehl earn the same benefits as drivers in other divisions. Benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance, generous paid time off (vacation time and paid holidays), and finally,  a robust retirement package that includes both a 401k and profit sharing.
