Marshfield, WI – Roehl Transport was recently honored with 2015 Excellence in Trucking Claims and Loss Prevention Award by the American Trucking Associations (ATA). The award recognizes the extent and effectiveness of Roehl’s freight claims and loss prevention programs. Roehl is one of the largest, most successful trucking companies in America. The company provides van, flatbed, refrigerated and dedicated truckload services to customers across the nation. The award reinforces why customers choose Roehl. “Customers know that when their freight is being handled by Roehl, there is a lower chance of incident. If a claim is needed, they know we resolve it quickly,” said John Spiros, Roehl Transport Vice President of Safety and Claims Management. Roehl had a 39% year-over-year decrease in the net claim amount paid, a 10% drop in year-over-year claims paid and a 17% increase in the number of claims solved in 30 days or less. “Winning this award is an honor we all share,” said Spiros. “From our Safety Department to our robust training programs and support to our more than 2,000 professional truck driving teammates on the road – we can all take pride knowing that our policies, procedures and performances reduce claims and accomplish our mission,” he continued. When evaluating for the award, the ATA considered the size of the fleet, staff, and program budget. Commenting on the award, ATA President and CEO Bill Graves said, “…it’s recognition for setting the bar high on important matters like safety and security and surpassing expectations.
