MARSHFIELD, WI— The American Trucking Associations (ATA) recently honored Roehl Transport with their top award for Excellence in Claims/Loss Prevention. This is the second consecutive year Roehl has won the award, which is based on the ATA’s review of carriers’ claim records and loss prevention efforts.
The prestigious national award is open to motor carriers of all types and sizes, and it is the only award of its kind in the trucking industry. ATA Executive Director Susan Chandler noted the award recognizes that Roehl has set the bar for claims management, loss prevention and damage control.
“Winning this award for a second straight year is a testament to Roehl’s industry-leading safety record,” President Rick Roehl said. The company has been honored with numerous awards for safety, including being named among the safest trucking companies in the nation. “While the award means we keep our customers’ freight safe, it also has implications for the general driving public,” said John Spiros, Roehl’s Vice President of Safety and Claims Management. “Roehl employees are driven to protect others,” he said. “There is nothing more important than that.”
Roehl has demonstrated that their loss-prevention program results in less damage as well as faster, smoother claims processing if and when it does occur. “We’re known for our superior service and safety, and we believe our customers deserve the best in the business,” Rick Roehl said. The company places value in preventive maintenance programs as well as safe driving training courses. That mission has helped the company become one of the 100 largest truckload carriers in the nation, offering dry van, curtainside, flatbed and now refrigerated capabilities.
