Marshfield, WI – Gerald Steinbach from Hixton, WI recently won first place in the 5-Axel Van Division of the 2007 Wisconsin Truck Rodeo. The win qualifies him for the national competition to be held in August. Steinbach is an over-the-road truck driver for Roehl Transport and a member of the Marshfield, WI-based company’s elite Truck Rodeo team.
His exceptional division performance also led to the overall top prize for the event; Steinbach was presented with the William Seavers Grand Champion Award for having the most points over the average class score. In addition to those honors, Steinbach also earned the Vehicle Condition Award for the best pre-trip score.

This is the second consecutive year that Roehl has sent a driver to the national truck rodeo competition. Steinbach will put his abilities to the test against some of the best drivers in the country at the 70th annual National Truck Driving Championships, August 21 – 25 in Minneapolis, MN.
